Engage through Play
Teach your children a lesson they will never forget with our brand new engaging, interactive-led sessions for Early Years. All of our sessions have been specially designed to help deliver all six areas of the foundation stage curriculum. The programme includes everything from art sessions, treasure trails, gardening, storytelling, object handling and role-play through to scientific exploration and the chance to become a mini archaeologist in our live dig area.
Children at foundation stage and Key Stage1 will be given a very basic introduction to archaeology and will be able to handle real objects from the past under the supervision of adults. They will be introduced to chronology at a very basic level and can take part in a simulated dig which will be explained to them through interactive activities in an easily understood format.
