Historical Enquiry
Both JORVIK and DIG are excellent vehicles for delivering the QCA Scheme of Work: Unit 6C Why people invaded and settled in Britain in the past. Choosing either a Roman or Viking case study, an understanding of the work of archaeologists gained at DIG can underpin each of the areas of study but particularly the Romans and Anglo-Saxons and any of the World Study options.
